The Cross Keys, Henley

Mark and his partner took this pub on from a pretty derelict state about a year ago and they are doing a great job. Its a 1930s style large pub in the middle of the countryside. We cycle up there. Its strong point is the beer and food. Simple British fare but always fresh and well cooked. The range of beers is quite extensive but you have to ask if you are into Real Ale.

This year they've improved the garden and we enjoy a game of pool. If this site was for effort they deserve 10/10. Overall I'd give them an 8. As they improve more of the pub over the coming years I think it will have an even stronger following.
