Crown and Goose, Camden

Food to DIE for in here but if you are getting here in the evenings between Thursday and Sunday, you may not get a seat to be able to eat.
The crowd (see Hawley Arms) is a bit too trendy at those times for my liking. I feel like I should be wearing a hat to fit in!
Range of beer is poor but the wine selection is good. Nice place for a drink as long as it's not during peak times. Great looking place too!

The Earl of Camden, Camden

Not the best. Bar staff here are incredibly slow (dare I say lazy?). The selection of beer is not great and I'm no expert but I'm not sure it tasted like it should.
Very cold as well at this time of year. Did someone forget to pay the gas bill?

The Spread Eagle, Camden

I have been to this place a few times this year and I have to say I love it. Bit of a smell going in but for me that just adds to the character! Good ales and usually something new worth trying when I get there. Probably the best option for a 'real pub' in Camden Town.
One quibble was a member of staff. There was a short man stood behind the bar with a face like thunder, which was not what I had come to expect from the staff here. And I'm sure he had had a few drinks!
All in all though, a really good place for a good drink in a relaxing atmosphere. Just steer clear of the angry barman!
