the place has been refurbished and looks great. A little more sophisticated and a little more attention to detail than your average grimey boozer. this is my local pub and by far the most comfortable hangout in the area - the eggs benedict are as good as any in London - I'm a happy punter

The Stapleton Tavern, Finsbury Park

popped in the other day for the football, looks like it has just been repainted and cleaned up. very cosy indeed - fun chatty staff too.

The Lighthouse, Battersea

my new favorite pub in London - just around the corner from my flat, it's home from home. The beer garden is great, very good chef, I especially recommend the apple crumble for pudding.
