The Tollgate Tavern, Beckton

I have started using this pub in the past few months, looking at the previous reviews I have to say I was initially put off, but wrongly so.
It is now to be under new management and I have found it friendly local. They dont serve food and there is no real ale yet, but it is a real pub. the staff are welcoming and although a 'locals' pub you are not made to feel awkward.
one to 'watch' to see how it develops.
