The Kings Arms, Dorking

Really like this pub, always forms part of our weekly (mini) pub crawls through Dorking along with the Cricketers and the Star. Often has bands on which are always entertaining if a little variable in quality.

Good mix of clientele, yound and old and a nice atmosphere coupled with goodish beer and a suprising amount of seating make this a great place for a few drinks.
Staff can be a little slow sometimes (I just get the impression that they are not that experienced) but have always found them friendly.

The Star, Dorking

Fantastic pub, spent NYE there last week and had a great time.

Have not tried the ale on any of my visits so can't comment but the staff are really friendly and efficient which they often need to be as it can get very busy.

One of those places that is always making an effort to do something different with live music, events etc. and is all the better for it. Definitely worth a visit.

The Old House At Home, Dorking

Have drunk in this pub four or five times, always to watch the rugby as it seems to be the only place in Dorking that will reliably show it (can't watch at home due to a self imposed Murdoch boycott). Beer has been good on all occasions and staff have been really friendly and accommodating.
All my visits have been in the afternoon however as it does look a little bit "lively" when walking past in the evening.
Would recommend it for anyone wanting to watch sport in the Dorking area,.
