The William IV, Bletchingley

Have just come home from a return visit to the William IV. This time my wife and I had a wonderful Sunday lunch - 8-95 for two lovely dishes. The first was Roast Beef with roast potatoes, boiled potatoes, cabbage, carrots and cauliflower along with a large Yorkshire puddings. I was almost full after this course, but still managed to find space for the Apple and Cinamon Crumble which had been made by the landlord.

All in all I cannot fault the food or the service at this establishment. I go there looking for comfort food, and friendly service. Both of which I get in abundance.

The Windmill, Burgess Hill

First visited this pub in 2009 and have been returning regularly ever since. Have found the Windmill great for a relaxing drink after work, and have always felt welcomed when I've gone in.

The William IV, Bletchingley

Have always enjoyed my visits to the William IV.

The food is not top London restuarant quality, but thats not what you want from an English Country Pub. You want good, wholesome fare, and the William IV is definately a place to provide this.

The Sunday lunch is great for the price. The plate is full, and for 8.95 is extremely well priced. I've been to a number of other pubs, and have been charged more, for less.
