Kings Stores, Bishopsgate

The pub has been my favourite for pub lunches and after work drinks for years (at least 1 visit a week).
The pub has been refurbished for the better and reopenned recently as more modern take on the traditional british pub experience.

The feedback relates to the period after reopenning:

- the food is excellent
- the menue changes frequently to keep the clientelle interested
- the selection of ales moved from Green King to Trumans and remains good.
- the service is pleasant and very nice

I CAANOT FAULT THE PUB IN ANYTHING BUT - THE TIME LAG BETWEEN ORDERING FOOD AND ACTUALLY GETTING IT SERVED. THE RATING IS AN URGENT WARNING TO KS MANAGEMENT TO IMPROVE THEIR SERVICING TIMES (GET MORE HELP IN THE KITCHEN). AFTER WAITING FOR 50 MINUTES (3 PEOPLE) TO GET OUR LUNCH SERVED WE HAD TO TAKE THE FOOD AS TAKEAWAY, CLEAR THE BILL AND WALK BACK TO THE OFFICE.

I WILL REVISE THE RATING IF THE SERVICE IMPROVES.
