I frequent the pub on most evenings during the week on the way home after work and find it to be a great little boozer. The real ales are great and the Staff are always polite and efficient. The punters are all friendly and the northern lads seem to bring a buzz to the place, and obviosly a lot of money as most of them appear to knack a bakers dozen every night.I did venture in the pub on a Saturday evening with the wife after we had been for a meal and the atmosphere changed a bit, it was in the summer and there was a rowdier crowd in and we walked on to the nice little decking area and came across one of the female regulars getting thumped on the decking. Apart from that great little place, nice food, great staff its a first class local.
PS. The comments from angus are very harsh and will be making a complaint to the staff about that. We dont need anti-social, nasty comments spoiling the atmosphere in there, especially when he's always drunk and taking his clothes off, and scowering the place trying to get his shot off. Thanks.
