The Blue Anchor, East Aberthaw

I live in the vicinty of the pub, today I went for lunch with some friends. The pub is doing a special offer of �10.50 for a two course meal. The meal consisted of a small chicken drum stick stuck into mashed potatoe with a sauce poured over. A side plate of beans between three.
I have to say the meal was rubbish, the drum stick was of the cheap frozen variety. The beans were not cooked.
We enjoyed the beer although expensive, we sat outside as it was warmer.
The pub was cold and uninviting, even the bar lady complained that it wa so cold.
The board outside said it was an Egon Ronay guide pub, all I can say if he saw the food he would have had his name taken off.
We certainly will not be going back there.
