Gordon Bennnett bar + kitchen, Surbiton

Pretty ordinary really. The outside has a sweet appearance but inside its just a boring cafe layout. I found the staff perfectly nice (the owner was a bit grumpy). They may have too many bottles of wine open cos mine tasted a bit off. I suppose its better than the pubs and that's why its so expensive. No style.

Sorry, I've just read a couple of things others have written and felt the need to add some more: 'Loos miles away' - what? I found them just down stairs. 'Tiny' - what? Did you actually go there?

They do cocktails and they seem to do them bloody well. That's why there's no Fosters. I think it's great. I had my birthday party here and it was a brilliant night. They looked after us really well. The food was delicous. Some people don't seem to get it - well this site does have 'beer' in the title I suppose.
