The Old Dairy, Finsbury Park

My gripe about this otherwise charming boozer is that they often seem to dispense short measure. When you are paying �3.20 a pint you expect a pint. Rarely. This is a common problem these days with untrained bar staff. But on the occasion when I complained and asked for a top-up at the Old Dairy some months ago, the barmaid rudely informed me that this was how the manager had instructed her to serve the beer - far from a full glass. I hope not - if it happens again I'll be off to Trading Standards.
