The Villager, Vigo Village

I've been to this pub a few times when they've had live music, and I find the place a bit lacking in atmosphere. Less experienced bands, in my experience, struggle a bit to get the place "going". But I heard they've opened a Thai restaurant in the pub so I'll be going there soon to check it out.

The Six Bells Inn & Restaurant, Northfleet

I love this pub. It has a real community feel to it, and they hold a lot of special events for fundraising etc. You always get a warm welcome and it's the sort of pub where, as a female, you can go and meet your friends and not feel uncomfortable if you arrive first and have to wait for them to arrive. Highly recommended.
