much improved pub and the last poster's points are spot on. but the 'bald mercedes bore' had been reincarnated on our recent visit. he seemed quieter though.

dunno how this place keeps going. half of it (the upstairs) is mostly shut and the beer is terrible. it just seems to cater for a few loud regulars down under the TV. the main barmaid (polish, I think) seems so bored that she has become a full time texter. the governors don't seem to mind, that is, if there are any.

The Dolphin, Betchworth
Again, the last poster has hit the nail on the head. WHY do new posters condone the mediocrity of the Dolphin? Staff or management maybe? Some of the chaps being served here would be barred from establishments in Crawley or Redhill. The presence of ladies only seems to egg them on - in their foulmouthed rants. Are new posters deaf - or is such a question offensive?
