The Victoria Inn, Borth

best pub in town. well known by generations of A-Level Biology students on trips there. There was a piano last time I was in there, but that was a few years back.

The Gin House, St Andrews

'kin dreadful place. AVOID AVOID AVOID. tasteless modern interior ie cheap and nasty. NO ALE, only fizzy chemo-pops and crap lager. Popular with locals ie not students any more, and airmen from the nearby RAF Leuchars. These two groups enjoy fighting each other outside this cesspit every weekend. Do not go near, at any time, but especially not at weekends as this is a notorious local crime spot, muggings assualt etc.

Laffertys, St Andrews

This pub was restored recently to remove the feinian tat that scarred this establishment. It is now the criterion again is all the better for it. At least two real ales always on offer. recomended for being a more relaxed atmosphere than the booze crazed dens of iniquity that some of the larger town centre bars have become.
