Far From the Madding Crowd, Oxford
I won't lie this is pretty much my local if I am in Oxford city centre. The last post mentioned the staff - they are from all over, not just Eastern Europe - some are from East Oxford! Dave and Lauren are the managers now and very nice they are too.
The far from now has a real cider of the week and there is a beerfest coming up in October.
Yes it is a bit of a barn but if you like beer you would go a long way to beat the choice - and no Green King!
