The Boatman, Guildford

Firstly 'switch23' Punch do own pub's as buisnesses as well as leases Spirit changed their name and became Punch last year.
I think that what the new company has done here is fantastic, the pub is so much cosier and more welcoming. It's has been a long time coming and deffinately worth the wait. Had lunch in here yes the prices are steep but deffinately worth while the burger and steak were excellent, also sold a choice of cides!!! My only negative comment would be about one of the girls behind the bar chewing gum, one of my pet hates!!
