The Silver Plough, Pitton

Previous members have summed this place up in essence, and living in the area a balanced view on its quality is easy. Food is expensive for very rudimentary pub fare and can easily be found better elsewhere in other outlaying areas around Salisbury, this also counts for the beers. This being more of Hall and Woodhouse issue rather the pub itself, but still not amazingly well kept.

More importantly however as mentioned below is the complete lack of atmosphere. Dated interior rather than adding rustic atmosphere simply makes it feel aged, and regarding ambience its incredibly dull and uninviting. The dated restaurant and music are just a start; on the plus side it does have a well-kept inviting garden. Much better elsewhere however and really does need a new lease of life for both the sake of the food and the pub.

The Masons Arms, Marylebone

Seasonal beers like Ferret can be good, but the pub itself is awful. Worst food in London by a mile, felt like I was robbed afterward.
