The Beehive, Walworth

Really excellent pub in slightly unlikely location. The atmosphere is great - a real pub, no musak or fruit machines, rarely too crowded (except for the extremely popular Sunday lunches) but usually enough people to make it feel comfortable. Staff are friendly, the beer (Pride) is well kept, and the wines are ok too. Having been through a rocky patch, the food is back up to a high standard (though not fancy or expensive), and served in big portions. Fine place.
