The Wellington Arms, Southampton

Absolutely excellent pub, great beers and great atmosphere with log fire burning on a cold winter's night. Having just moved to the area I can feel very privileged to call this my local.
Sampled a pint of Swift One and a Harvest (?) bitter the other night and both tasted delicious. My girlfriend's cider was a little suspect though - perhaps the lines could do with some attention?
I thoroughly recommend this boozer.

Fitzroy Tavern, Fitzrovia

Good cheap pub. Charlotte steet atmosphere is excellent in the summer for standing around outside. I think the bar staff are great - there's not enough of them but they always know who's next and seem to be able to serve about 4 people at once. Would definitely benefit from a smoking ban inside though.

The Smoke Bar And Diner, Tooting

Really nice bar, worth a visit and the Sunday roasts are great. Don't order a knickerbocker glory though.
