The Britannia, Richmond

Nice quiet pub, where we have eaten good food on more than one occasion. Despite not being a particularly family-orientated pub, were really helpful this sunday lunchtime, providing a high chair and warming food for my 8-month old son. Very impressed.

Broad Street Tavern, Wokingham

The BST is always busy, so it takes a long time to get served. I've been moderately insulted when I asked to change my wine because it tasted unpleasant, too; generally I find the staff a bit offhand.

I like the large non-smoking section and the heated garden, but it wouldn't be my first choice of pub in Wokingham.
