The Abbot, Morden

I think the last post of 28/11/06 is rather harsh. I have been going to this pub since the middle of November 2006 and it is a nice pub, and the staff are friendly. The manager has done wonders, as the pub had a bad reputation in the past, but it's image has been cleaned up considerably.
There is entertainment, and the locals are friendly. It is a relaxed enviroment and definately worth a look. The prices are reasonable and certainly would recommend this pub!!

The Grapes, Sutton

Not that bad, and I think most of the other posts on here are a little exaggerated. It is not a bad pub, maybe not the best in Sutton but not exactly the worst either. Compared to the Litten Tree this place is far better. The beer is reasonably priced the punters are mostly young and in the 20's but are mostly friendly (no matter where you go you will get a few undesirables) and the bar staff and doorstaff are helpful and friendly. A Good venue if you want to watch football or Rugby on the big screen and they have 3 pool tables if you fancy a game. Great pub.

The Dukes Head, Croydon

This pub is awful, went in there one Saturday night for all of 20 minutes and left. Full of young chavs, who are rude and obnoxious, went in on a karaoke night and that was also terrible. The toilets were dank and disgusting. Will never enter this pub again..... Avoid it!!! There are better pubs in Croydon, in fact walk a couple of minutes down the road and visit The Skylark.
