The Chequers, Hendon
The Chequers has been my local for yonks. Now it is at it's best. The landlady Elaine, the staff, Brian, Sol, Maz and Ryan etc are very friendly both towards the regulars and the, becoming more frequent, visitors. There is always something going on, be it Live bands, Karaoke, Disco or the frequent Charity nights. The inception of the new kitchen "Wallingtons" and chef Darren has gone to make this the ideal venue for a family get-together with a fine home made meal. I would recommend a visit.
