Having frequented this pub for a few years now I have noticed that the quality of real ale has indeed picked up.............however the number of staff serving on a fri/sat night behind the bar is beyond belief. Lets face it there's more chance of sex with Angelina Jolie than being served within 5 minutes on a friday night. Not that the barman isnt making an effort. Nevertheless the layout, atmosphere and eye candy are good.

Ok so Sunday its a bit dead and the bad ratings are true of weekdays, however nights are quality with a buzzing atmosphere and plenty of eye candy, most notably three guys, mark, jamie and aumit who shall remain anonymous. Also there are the now legendary regulars known as Bob, Bernard & co. Best nights to go are thursday, friday and saturday. Vast range of beers, but at �1.99 u cant go wrong with Zywiec...if u cant pronounce it ask for the polish beer!
