Manifold Inn, Buxton

What a beautiful looking place in the middle of campers paradise in the Peak District! And what a GORJUS day to go! This pub is open all day to accomodate local need and takes credit/debit cards which was a life saver in itself! The landlady, in a fleeting appearance, came across as fearsome and the barman was a male clone! The food we had from the daily special board was quite simply the worst home-made food I have ever come across - I had lasagne and it was awesome for all the wrong reasons - I could taste the grease for a day afterwards. Lovely pub, lovely surroundings but grim food and staff to match
