The Puzzle, Earlsfield

This pub has totally changed since being rebranded as "The Wandle" The interior decor is much better and they seem to be really trying to upgrade the ladies loos (which trust me were dire before) The garden area is lovely and in the summer (which seems long ago now) it was a delight to sit in. There is table service available and all staff I have met have been polite and friendly. A tad middle class and I wouldn't suggest visiting for an authentic pub atmosphere but a nice spot to spend an evening.

Wax Jambu, Islington

Had a lovely evening in this pub taking advantage of 2 for 1 cocktails. In fairness at �7.50 upwards for a cocktail it is pricey but its to be expected from a bar on Upper St (hence my visit being in happy hour!) Nice seating area but I can imagine the later it gets the busier it gets which might not be great as it seems a small space. Oh...happy hour is 5-8pm!

Rick's Bar, Greenwich

Held an event in this pub and it was fab, reasonably priced hire fees, polite and friendly staff, late licence and most of all my guests all had a great time. I will admit its not somewhere i'd pop into for a quick drink as there doesn't seem to be lots of character for that sort of thing but for venue hire in the area not sure it could be bettered. Thanks Ricks Bar!
