nice enough pub, shame about the food.

the beer's ok but the food is terrible - and with more than half of the pub given over to dining that's inexcusable. i've eaten there three times and if it's been cooked it tastes burnt - burger, steak, even bread. i complained on the first two ocassions but it didn't seem to make a difference so i didn't even bother last time. i can only assume that the chef rarely, if ever at all, cleans his grill.

if you're thinking of going here i suggest you go to the talbot (25ms away)instead. decent food, better beer and the building itself is just as nice.

oh, and i don't work in, own or have anything to do with the talbot!
