i have to agree with the other comments on here, unless you are a chav of course then i would recommend it!

Dee View Inn, Heswall

a very nice little place, just off the beaten track though. a very good selection of real ales and a cosy atmosphere. not a great deal in he way of entertainment though - so if you want to try some speciality ales then this is the place, but if you want a good night out you may find this place a little sleepy!

The Glegg Arms, Heswall

not too bad. does what i says on the tin really..........if you want a cheap dinner with family or friends then great. if you want live sports, pool, entertainment or just a few (decent) pints then try elsewhere.
the food offering is very good value for money though.
