All Bar One, Chiswick

Not a real pub, but a bar, and there's room for these. Decor is good, staff fine, food very good if you like gammon egg and fries (I do!)

George IV, Chiswick

A proper pub with a good mix of proper people. Great for watching sport, for a quiet pint. Have rarely eaten here and from memory strictly average. Good staff and well managed (plus excellent Pride)

The Rose and Crown, Kew

Went there on Saturday for a quiet lunch. Nice service and a very good hamburger and chips (rump steak burger they say ;-) ) on their special lunch price. Sat outside for some time - lovely - and inside to eat. It is a little dark but that's no disgrace in a pub, surely: good selection of different types of seating, all nice and clean. all nice and comfy. Prices are as expected for a smartish pub in a smartish place.
