Hear hear, lordnewt. If Fuller's really intend to keep this pub as a going concern then they are going about it in a totally demented way. More likely that they are out to flog the place to property developers, as they did with the Swan at Park Street. At the very least they owe us an explanation!

Get her! Oh come off it, ducky, all this macho talk doesn't fool anybody. When I sat at the bar last week in my turquoise hotpants and bra top, readling aloud some of Ovid's saucier love odes, the boyz were insatiable. AND I got free cocktails all evening! So, sweeties, let's all come out in force in the warm sticky months and turn this place into St Albans' number one hot spot, if you know what I mean. Phew, what a scorcher! See you there!
