What has happened to the dear old Tolly House. The brewery appears to have soft furnished away the character of what was the best pub in South East London. What on earth were they thinking? Carpets? Sofa�s? Did anybody have a look at the pub and crucially the client�le before this unnecessary makeover was embarked on. The manicured bushes on the first floor look ridiculous. I feel like someone has trampled all over a very important and significant part of my life and I am not alone. Beer is still good but the point is lost if you are sat in bar rather than a pub.
