Rubicon Bar, Surbiton

Well PunkRockBee, you do sound like a pleasant girl....please make a point of introducing yourself next time you are in there....
Anyway, I have only been here once, last weekend in fact, and I thoroughly enjoyed my evening! However, 2 reviews below mention Warsteiner on the bar....It was Bitburger and Paulaner Wheat when I visited! Both of which are wonderfully unique beers and won't be seen in many places in Surbiton or surrounding areas! Nice laid back atmosphere and not what you would expect located in Surbiton amongst all of the chain pubs and bars.

The Pot Kiln, Frilsham

Ate here a couple of months ago for a family members birthday and had a wonderful evening. Ale was in fine fettle and how refreshing to see just 1 non-branded lager font hidden away on a corner! Food was absolutely outstanding, yes it was expensive but if you choose to eat at a celebrity chefs "place" then you should expect this. Full credit for trying to keep a local drinkers bar also - not easy considering the size of the place.

The Cricketers, Horsell

This is my local since moving about a 5 minute walk away and I have to say it satisfies my needs entirely! There is a huge garden, huge portions of food and Adnams Broadside permanently on the bar... and a bar manager who knew what i would be drinking on my 3rd visit!!! what more can you ask for!!?
