The pub has changed hands about 3 times in the past 12 months. The guy who ran it before - mention by JimboSmith, below - left a long time ago and the now let all sorts of riff-raff in there.
Looks nice on the outside, but clientelle is no good - hoodies, gippos & chavs. It's my nearest pub, but I prefer to walk down the road to the next pub.

Great family pub! Food is all home-cooked on the premises (including home-made chips), with generous portions. Staff are friendly & they have great entertainment, especially Wed nights, which is Curry-oke night - Curry, rice & naan for a fiver! served from 5:30pm til 8:30pm and then Taz's Karaoke. He's the best karaoke DJ I've come across!!! Highly recommended!!
