Beer selection not thought out at all. Customers are great and take you back to when pubs had locals. The barman though lilled it for me. Basic English skills are essentail to any hospitality outlet. The barman was on by himself and clearly knew nothing about ales, who to serve next nor anything else that makes even a reasonable barman. Whoerver hired him might want to take a second look.

The Shakespeare's Head, Holborn

Close to hotel we stayed in. Better run than most spoons. Beer good and cheap. Good smoking area on Kingsway - ideal to watch the London crowds walk by.
