The Cuckfield, Wanstead

The pub is airy inside. The food is okay but does not change that much. It takes ages to get served but the staff are friendly. It is worth booking a table. Wanstead suffers from not having enough decent places to drink, but I would chose this place if wanted to meet friends for a drink and a bite to eat.

The Dovetail, Clerkenwell

Really surprised to read such negative comments about this lovely little place. I have been going in a few times a month over the last couple of years . My only gripe is that it is sometimes difficult to find somewhere to sit but the food is good and reasonably priced, the beer list is amazing!!!. The staff know about the beers they sell and are happy to give you a sample. My advice try it for yourself
