The Stapleton Tavern, Finsbury Park

What exactly does the Larrick want to be? It has books and games... yet seves alcopops and has more giant screens than any other pub in Finsbury Park. It's all polished wood and leather upholstery... but the toilets are like something out of a soviet prison. It's also bloody expensive. Weird place.

The Old Dairy, Finsbury Park

Dear God. WHAT has happened to our beloved Old Dairy? After moving to Finsbury Park a year and a half ago, we picked the Dairy as our traditional Sunday hangout - bit pricy, but the food was good, people unpretentious, barstaff rubbish, but a lovely building.
After the recent refurbishment though... It's the Dairy. Painted black. With hyper inflated prices. And suddenly filled with nu-media oiks. Bottle of Magners and a diet coke? �7.20. WTF?! You're at the bottom of a hill in FINSBURY PARK, not Park Lane. The only slightly improved thing was ,much more competant barstaff. We decided to bid this place farewell, and tried to remember the good times. Back down the Fullback...
