Windmill Inn, Partridge Green

Terrible. As per my wife's and mine comments on The Windmill in Littleworth, please don't bother. Read our comments on that entry, as it is, after all, the same pub, obviously attempting to dilute the comments between Littleworth and the same pub name in Partridge Green.

The Windmill Inn, Littleworth

Don't bother. We have now tried both pubs in Partridge Green and we were extremely uncomfortable in The Windmill. It reminded us of a scene from the film "Deliverance", not that the locals are not friendly, but it's still very scary and not somewhere we would like to drink. And, the food is mass-produced catering rubbish. Fresh would have been nice, and also the regulars not glaring at my wife would have been nicer.

The Partridge, Partridge Green

We have recently moved to this village and upon mixed reviews decided to try it out. Both my wife and I are really delighted we did, after meeting the proprietors who took the time to walk us through all of the old photos of the local area on the walls, they were so very welcoming and we ended up ignoring dinner and staying here for food - which was absolutely superb, thank you Dawn, just a shame that a previous revewer critisised them for closing early one night earlier on in the year, there was a death in the landlady's family which they had to attend to. What a shame as it was our first attempt to try the pub. Well worth the wait though. 12/10 and nothing less!
