New owners Nov 2008. Back to friendly local hostelry; food greatly improved; home made, traditional pub grub. Pool and darts teams; Sky tv for football coverage. New beer garden and no smoking shelter. Now independently run, away from the clutches of brewery chains - and it shows; guest real ales. Well worth a visit.

Museum Inn, Carlisle
Forgot to mention - Best Bar None Winners 2009. Best Pub in Carlisle; competed against other pubs, then in final with a club and bar. Child friendly conversation friendly; just friendly and welcoming.
