The Three Crowns, Stanwell

A nice pub. Made our family feel very welcome. Friendly bar staff and good beer. Will definately be back to sample the food.

The Rising Sun, Stanwell

After moving to the area we we were looking for a nice family friendly pub. We were told that this pub was just that and had the added bonus of decent food.
Unfortunately this is not what we found, an unpleasant atmosphere, more than our fair share of unpleasant stares. Certainly not family friendly, it may do the most amazing food- we wouldnt know. We didnt hang around to find out. We took our custom to the harvester by the hospital. A shame really, we eat out alot and would rather have given money to a local pub than a pub chain.
