The Great Northern Railway Tavern, Hornsey

My first visit co-incided with a recent renovation and relaunch. Wow... its a beautiful big building with amazing original features. The wine list was long with plenty by the glass (and the ones I tried were very drinkable!) and the menu looked amazing. No pool table or screens as listed on the description above - just a really nice atmosphere, friendly staff and a garden area that even whilst still being finished allowed us to enjoy a bit of evening sunshine. We'll definitely be going back!!!
