Thurland Hall, Nottingham

Had never visited in 'the old days' but was very pleasantly surprised. Large square bar with nice punters. This could be an oasis amongst the normal city centre offerings. Would definitely go back.

Pike and Eel, Cambridge

A disaster of a place because of the scum who live nearby. They will not take offence at this as they can't read...bless 'em. A great shame that a lovely location pub has been ruined by the people it could have served.
