Smiths of Bourne, Bourne

I love this pub! I called in the other evening to discover that they have started doing food in the evening. This is great news for the pub and for Bourne. The menu was very reasonably priced with the ususal suspects on the menu (Steak, Lasagne etc).
The quality and service was as I would expect from a pub that already does lunchtime food to such a good standard.
The real ale is always kept brilliantly in this pub, and is a real credit to Pat and his team.
I always look forward to visiting this pub and I am never disappointed.

White Hart, Stamford

This pub/Inn is a real gem of a find! You can choose to eat in the restaurant or the newly refurbished Oranagery which is light and airy. For a less formal meal you can comfortably sit in the bar to enjoy some heart warming home cooked food.

The staff are excellent, especially Ben and Germaine. There are also 6 letting rooms. I have only seen a couple of them but they are a very high standard and they have a 4 star AA rating, which means they can't be bad.

Real ale wise, with Ufford Ales literally in the grounds it is not suprising that they have 3 of their own beers on at any one time, all kept to a very high standard. The guest hand pump was given over to Adnams at the time of my visit.

Brilliant little pub!

The Tobie Norris, Stamford

This is my favourite real ale pub in Stamford. The building is truly stunning, the food is very fresh and absolutely faultless.

A good selection of beer to suit most palates, together with a fabulous range of wines too.

The staff and the manager are very friendly.

I cant think of a better place to be on a cold winter evening with the log fire roaring, or in the garden in the summer with some friends. Marvellous!
