The Haycutter, Oxted

This is my favourite pub in the whole world. Honest. The beer is well-kept. They have Youngs, Pride, and a Guest Ale. The food is excellent. Especially Steak Night on Thursdays when you get steak, sides and a drink for �12. It has loads of fun events, including live music the first Friday of every month, and a variety of discos, beer festivals, bbqs, and fireworks on New Year and Bonfire Night. Everyone is really friendly and welcoming - random people I've met there have become friends. It is the best village pub anyone could ask for. The only drawback is it not being a free house so they don't have as many different beer varieties as some other pubs in the area.
