Returned to the Temple Bar in Chester in October 2010 and it is much improved good meals, good value, friendly staff, quick service, can fully recommend

This pub was a 10 for atmosphere in the summer of 2008 and good food (which included 2 for 1 meals) before they changed their menu and stopped their loyalty rewards scheme. The chef was outstanding and their was always a good stock of beef in ale pie on offer. These days its rating has fallen right down to a 2 and I now only ever pop in to use it as a toilet if I am ever in Chester. They fell into the old trap of changing things just for the sake of it when people much prefered it as it was before. Very Bad Pub Management Here!!!
