What a gem of a place! Food is just out of this world. Extremely well kept cask ales - Batemans XB, XXB plus Pedigree always on and a rotating guest beer.
Your host, David Phillips is simply superb. Dine in the bar or in one of two non-smoking areas. In the spring/summer the garden is alive with flowers. Children are welcome if well-behaved but not in the bar. NO music, no gaming. has to be one of the best in UK!
