Very good food, but the place feels like an (over-lit) restaurant, not a proper pub.

The Old Inn, Mullion

Good old-fashioned authentic pub atmosphere, with the restaurant area divided into lots of smaller rooms/alcoves. Service very good. The only beer I tried was Tribute, which was well kept. The food menu is a little dull, with a distinct lack of vegetarian dishes, but my rump steak was first-rate.

The Green Dragon, Barnet

Very good and well-priced lunch menu. Pleasant atmosphere, and good service. Haven't tried it in the evening, but well worth stopping for at lunchtime.
