The Ship, Lambeth

This pub has been in the doldrums for quite some time but seems to have turned a corner. They now serve a decent pint of real ale (I don't normally like Sharp's Doom Bar much, but a pint (or six) a couple of weeks ago slid down a treat as did Timothy Taylor's this week). Problem is, they've only got one 'real' on at a time, but I think they're trying to get two more pumps working. I'm looking forward to having a choice!

This place is usually packed but both the beer and the staff are consistently crap. Then again, I probably would be too if I had to work with those punters.

The Yacht, Bexleyheath

Not one i'd bother with again, a big, soulless barn of a place with service that's pushing the boundaries of 'appalling' if the place is any more than half-busy. Very average beers.
