Was in for lunch today with an old chum. Ale OK, food zero. The "Bells" was one of our airport pubs back in the late 60s etc., now tis just a "I think I'm a gastro pub" location.

Poor old Bobsmithswig, does all that having to read cause 'brainhurtz'. The reason there are signs there, is to tell you to comply with the house rules, if you can't comply, go to the Fox.

The Village Inn, Caterham

Popped in the other lunch time ! Stank of stale cooking oil, no real beer, scruffy chav type staff, scruffy furniture ! No way forward, this is still a chav/pikey/ex squaddie boozer :~(
It'll never change, not enough folks in the area, that'll stay in the area for this sort of boozer, for that is what it is, a scruffy lowlife folks boozer :~(
