what the hell has happened here.
short barmaid with no personality ( probably never smiled in her life ) just could not be bothered to serve - but did under great duress ( it seems ) - didn't know if they had a menu on saturday lunchtime - rumaged around in a freezer and ofered me half a meal.
i declined and finished my sub standard pint of harveys
i wont be back or recommend

what a lovely pub !
a friendly smile and welcome with excellent beer - 4 real ales in tip top condition, i'm sure. i tried masterbrew and harvest gold - both good.
nice to see no fruit machines or game machine - this is what real pubs are about with lovely locals that speak to you. it has a massive garden where i enjoyed a good spot of lunch. they tell me it's all homemade as well.
i will definately be back.
