The White House, Stockley Park

I have been a regular customer even when this was previously a very up market restaurant. The watery aspect is unusually pretty for an industrial park setting. The venue also benefits from the sun all the year round. The food is pretty good for the price. This venue has a captive customer base from Stockley park which sticks closely to business lunch hours but the management seem incapable of managing the rush hours at the Bar.I have waited for 20 minutes to be severed at the bar on several occasions and that is half the time I have to spend with my clients over lunch. There is also a very inflexible regime about choosing a table and taking the number back to the bar before you can start a food order. You may have waited by the bar but the bar staff refuse to take your order till you give them a table number
which can mean going to the far end of the restaurant only to return to the bar and find your back at the end of the queue again...stressfull. The Tab system seems to work well.
More bar staff at such predictable busy times would help
