I am a big fan of the good old english pubs. The sort of ones you get aound most football stadiums. Theres something sort of patriotic about them, But any bar or drinking hole that doesn't throw me out for being too pissed is fine by me.

in my opinion, this is one of the best pubs in England. Rita, the landlady is a proper cockney diamond with a heart of gold. They serve a mixture of lager and bitter, amongst them carlsberg, fosters, pride and guiness. Good social atmosphere mainly on weekends. triffic food served all week round and not too far from the station. 10 outa 10

The Boleyn Tavern, Upton Park
proper east end boozer. great on match days. away fans beware. good pint but it takes a while to get there.
